| Imagine a few of the best things happening to you. Then imagine, in between these great things, a bunch of sucky things going on all the time in the background. It pretty much balances out the scales, and you're left with neutral blah. That's what the life's been like for the past few days.
Good Things: the Peace Fair, seeing my lover, getting the lead in Bye Bye Birdie, Bye Bye Birdie rehearsals, getting a day off, scoring an A on my math test, practially peeing my pants after social studies today ( )...
Bad Things: leaving the Peace Fair, leaving my lover, going to impossibly boring Lottery play practices every freaking day, homework, long school days, annoying French classes, gym, forgetting to do homework...
I dreamt about The New Kids on the Block last night. Hot stuff, huh?
I can't wait to shop for a homecoming dress !! I don't want to spend too much, but if I find the perfect dress, it'll be hard to resist... (I'm such a girl !)

| above there's so much i'm depending on remembering more instead of war with me, myself, and i i'm headed for the stranger in the sky "resort in paradise"
I officially had the best weekend ever!! My lover came down Friday and we rendezvoused with Rosey and her other men figures. Saturday morning I got eggs and black-but-not-burnt bacon. THEN, my lover let me dress him up like a Ken doll at the mall with the Sarahs and Dan. ( I mean seriously, only the most awesome guys let us do that!! ) At night time, we wandered around the neighborhood, nesting momentarily in random lawns, until we found a pack of people we enjoyed thoroughly. ( Did I mention that Coerte is the cutest? ) Also, the man and Dan found it fun/ funny to lie in the middle of the street, and then not to move when I said "CAR COMING, CAR COMING, OH MY GOD THERE'S A VEHICLE HEADED THIS WAY!!!!!" Well, it turns out they didn't die, so our complete group was able to return to my house and sleep. (Except for Ron, but don't worry, Ron didn't die she just left.... SHEW.) On Sunday, Dan got to go to her first Eating Meeting (isn't that so much cleverer than FRIENDLY FIRST? Gosh. ), but then we had to bring Coerte to the train station. It was a truly sucky end to a perfect weekend.
This week has been so long and tiring. You know how the first few weeks are kind of exciting, especially since it was our first of high school, but then that's over and it's all routine and BLAH? Yep, so it's pretty much blah. Some classes are driving me insane, too... ninth grade boys can be such animals. AND, to top it all off, I still get lost !! Hmm .
To all my Young Friend friends, I convinced my parents to let me go to the Peace Fair as long as I pay the whole fifty!!! YAY !!!!!

| You know how people always say, "Wow, so much has happened since I wrote last."? Well, so much has happened since I wrote last.
The week before school started up was pretty awesome. I think probably the best memory was eating Ron's at Ron's house (<--- Observe the blatant irony.) on the roof. And watching Danielle jump off. And leaving the window open so the cat crawled through. And scaring Ron and Dan to wake them up in the morningtime. (Sarah: Oh my god, why did you just do that?!?! Me: Lauren wanted to jump on you ! I wanted to sing you awake !!!) And buying an awesome skirt in the five minutes I was alloted to search in Forever 21. And almost getting run over by the Reach's. And watching Dermot Mulroney in all his sexiness.
Okay, so there was more than one best memory..
Swimming at Katie's was awesome. I think I got fat just on that day. And Cameron and Eli planned this big endeavor to King of Prussia with a bunch of people from camp, but by the time everyone got there and found each other, we only had an hour and a half or so to enjoy each other's company. When I'm around that crowd I have to be careful to ignore the fact that I should be embarrased. I hate KOP... it's so big and you have no idea where anything is. Plus, they have the stores I want to go in at my homey little Exton Square Mall, but the ones in Exton are BETTER.

| Wow. It feels like I've been away from here for longer than 2 weeks! I didn't want to come home... but I didn't realize how much I missed it till I came back! It's sort of opposite of how that should work..
Anyway, Arts camp kicked butt. Everyone in MSF is awesome, especially a few people. Plus, Montreal was amazing !! If you ever get a chance to visit, don't pass it up! If you ever get a chance to LIVE there, give that chance to me! It's like a cleaner, prettier NYC. And I found out at my annual family reunion that I'm naturally very good at poker, even against a bunch of 20-something cousins who've known how to play for years.
I'm a bit tired from driving all the way back from New Haven. Blaaah... this weather sucks!!
If I had done all that school crap at the beginning of the summer, I could have gone to Onas.. but no, I have to be stupid as usual and leave it till the very last moment. I wish I was going... | | |
